What the result means
A threshold check is not approval
When every relevant box is checked, the channel appears to meet the published numerical and account prerequisites. YouTube still reviews the whole channel for original, authentic, policy-compliant content. Meeting the expanded-YPP threshold also does not make every earning feature available; feature rules vary by country, age, audience, and content.

Upcoming rule change
The ad-revenue threshold changes February 1, 2027
YouTube has announced that new applicants will need 1,000 subscribers plus either 8,000 qualified watch hours in 365 days or 20 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days for ads and Premium revenue beginning February 1, 2027. The expanded-YPP thresholds remain unchanged in that announcement. This checker intentionally shows the rules in force on September 19, 2026.

How do I check whether my channel can apply?
Use the checklist for an initial review, then open YouTube Studio → Earn. Studio reflects your channel, country or region, valid activity, policy status, and the current rules.
Does meeting the numbers guarantee YouTube monetization?
No. The thresholds make a channel eligible to apply. YouTube reviews the channel against its monetization policies, and individual earning features can have additional age, location, audience, and content requirements.
Do I need AdSense before I apply?
YouTube says you need one active AdSense for YouTube account linked to the channel or must be ready to set one up in YouTube Studio. Do not create duplicate accounts outside the Studio flow.
Is this checker official?
