Install the current unpacked beta. Keep the extracted folder somewhere permanent.

    Download. Extract. Keep.

    Extract the ZIP into a folder on your computer. Chrome will load the extension from that folder.

    Load it in Chrome.

    Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and select Load unpacked. Choose the extracted folder.

    Connect your o1.

    Open the o1 side panel. Choose Connect o1 and sign in with your Growit account.

Already have a Growit extension installed?

Chrome allows one extension with this ID. If it reports a conflict, review data saved only in your existing extension before removing it: removal clears that local data. Then load this beta and reconnect. The Chrome Web Store version is still being updated.

How do I install it?

The current release is the 2.2.6 unpacked beta. Download and extract the ZIP, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked. Keep the extracted folder on your computer. The Chrome Web Store version is still being updated.

Do I have to share a page to chat?

No. You can chat with o1 without page context. When you want help with a page, select a tab and preview the context before choosing to include it. Visual mode can share a screenshot when you explicitly choose it.

Can o1 click or type without my approval?

Agent mode proposes a browser action for you to review. Allow approves that specific action; Decline rejects it. Stop ends the task and prevents further actions. You can also revoke website access in the Access drawer.

Do I need a Growit account?

Yes. Open the o1 side panel, choose Connect o1, and sign in to Growit. Your account's plan and AI usage allowance apply. Installation does not include unlimited AI usage.

What if I already have the Growit extension?

Chrome can keep only one Growit extension with this ID. If you see an ID conflict, review data saved only in your existing extension before removing it. Removal clears that local data. Then load this beta and reconnect your account.
